Big time saver and prevents you from having to cut your factory wiring.

Amplified, Non-amplified interface harness that retains accessory power and provides navigation output wires. .

-Provides 12vdc accessory output
-Does not retain warning chimes
-Provides outputs for VSS, Parking brake and reverse
The XSVI series interface is an inexpensive solution that provides +12-volt accessory power output for select vehicles that data control signals instead of conventional power signals.

If the vehicle is equipped with retained accessory power features, the XSVI will keep those features.

Also provides outputs for VSS, Reverse, and Parking Brake.

The listed VW vehicles have no 12 volt accessory wires in the factory radio harness making the installer run an accessory wire to the fuse box or underneath the steering column when installing an aftermarket radio.

The XSVI-9003-NAV is designed to provide a 12 volt 10 amp switched accessory output along with the rest of the wires needed to install an aftermarket radio.

The R.A.P. (Retained Accessory Power) function is retained by the XSVI-9003-NAV.

The XSVI-9003-NAV also provides essential wires required for aftermarket radios that have navigation.

Provided is VSS (Vehicle Speed Sense), Reverse, and Parking Brake- This cuts down the installation time

since the installer does not have to look for these wires in the vehicle.

In 2005 and older VW’s the navigation information (VSS, Parking Brake, and Reverse) is not available on the CAN Bus therefore the XSVI-9003-NAV will not provide it.

This unit is an absolute failure, if you're looking to maintain rear speaker functionality and standard CAN features. This harness will require you to run separate high to low level conversion for rear speakers and at a minimum, individual wiring for parking brake on a manual transmission.

Based on your response on Audi, this harness is specifically designed for VW vehicles as the product listing shows and is not made for Audi radios. Our compatibility list doesn't list any Audi vehicles as being compatible.
