Use this wire harness to replace your factory radio with an aftermarket radio. This harness is a must so you will be able to retain the OnStar system, standard Bose/amplified system, warning and parking chimes, and retains RAP system. You will get two channel rca input to your factory stereo system. Retains OnStar® when the factory radio is replaced Retains Bose amplified audio system Retains all safety warning chimes Maintains a "healthy" status on the Class II databus Plug-in installation for Cadillac CTS or SRX Important Notes: 2004-2006 Cadillac SRX: Models equipped with navigation are not compatible The OS-2CTS does not retain the factory XM receiver, you will lose this option when the factory radio is replaced with an aftermarket radio. You may use this interface even if the vehicle does not have On Star® but need the interface with the factory amplifier. On Star® must be enabled using the On Star® button on the rear view mirror- steering wheel On Star® button will not enable On Star®. On Star® volume is not adjustable on CTS-V and SRX models, volume is preset at medium level. Works with or without Bose. Works with the following vehicles: Cadillac: 2003-2007 CTS 2004-2006 SRX (not compatible with factory navigation)
