Call/disconnect button replaces the cigarette/power socket for that clean factory look or it can be put anywhere that is convenient. When a call comes in the stereo system mutes and rings to notify that someone is calling, you can then look at the caller id from the phone display to see if you want to identify the number and then press the Bluetooth button to answer the call.
