This adapter is the upgraded model of the OS-3 and OS-3Bose with more features. Replace your factory radio while being able to retain most, if not all, of the factory features that would be lost if it was not for this adapter. This adapter retains the OnStar system, warning chimes, audible turn signal indicators, back up sensor system. Compatible with Bose systems, amplified systems, and non-amplified systems. Retains factory XM Radio as long as the factory system has RSE (rear seat DVD system) controls. Retains the RAP feature. Navigation wire outputs. Product Compatibility: Works with GM GMLAN systems. If the vehicle has steering wheel audio controls and you want to retain it, a steering wheel adapter will also be required. Will not work in 2009 vehicles with OnStar/Bluetooth.
